Coffee, reflection and the weekend papers

I had a brainwave on the weekend. I feel much better now, thank you, but what I’ve decided to do from now on is write a post on a story in the weekend’s papers each week.

These days I don’t necessarily and consistently get to read the papers during the week, so Saturday and Sunday are my catch-up time. Some weekends it takes me to Sunday evening to get through it all, and some weeks I’ve still got sections strewn on the dining table through to Wednesday. Either way, most weeks there is a story or a column that catches my eye, so this is my way of rounding up some reflections and responses to what is happening in the world.
