Here’s how kids see love
Must track down a copy of the April 2010 edition of Reader’s Digest magazine – it’s got extracts from The World According to Kids in it.
Blogger Eileen says:
Was reading Readers’ Digest just now, and came across this really sweet thing :) Here’s how kids see love in action:
1. Love is when my mummy makes coffee for daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK. ~Danny, 7.
2. Love is when Mummy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says that he is handsomer than Robert Redford. ~ Chris, 7.
3. Love is when Mummy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken. ~ Elaine, 5.
(here’s my favourite!!!)
4. Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk some more. ~ Emily, 8.
All the above were from The World According to Kids: A Child’s Eye View of Life, Love and Chocolate Cake (HarperCollins, 2009)
I never knew kids see love this way. It’s amazing.
